Dillingersville School
In the mid 1700’s members of the Lutheran, Reformed (now UCC) and Mennonite faiths came together and built a “union” school that also served as a community meeting house and church. This Dillingersville School still stands today, and the three founding congregations continue to support this important piece of history.Join us for Dillingersville Days, Saturday, June 29 at 7:00 p.m. One Room Schoolhouse, 7226 Dillingersville Road, Dillingersville, featuring Russ Rentler, retired medical doctor. Russ has won numerous songwriting awards and builds his own hammered dulcimers which he will be using in his performance! His music is mostly original but has deep roots in the traditionsal music of the Appalachian and Celtic cultures. He has performed at Musikfest, Mayfair, and Godfrey Daniels Coffeehouse in the Lehigh Valley. Under the tent. Free Will Offering will be taken to benefit the Union School and Church Association.
