Old Zionsville UCC is participating in the Keystone Conference’s 50 Days of Easter Food Challenge, a “People of the Table” mission project connected to the Conference’s first Annual Meeting.
From Easter (April 5, 2026) through Pentecost (May 24, 2026), churches across the Conference are collecting non-perishable food donations for their local food banks. Each congregation will report the total amount donated, and a Conference-wide total will be shared at the Annual Meeting, June 5–7, 2026.
This approach allows each church to support the community where they live, work, and serve—making an impact locally while contributing to a larger shared effort.
At Old Zionsville UCC, this is something we already do—and during this challenge, we’ll be supporting the Zionsville Area Food Pantry in a new way. Members of the confirmation class will be counting the items collected during this time so that our congregation can participate in the Conference-wide total.
You’re invited to take part by bringing non-perishable food items between Easter and Pentecost. All items count—canned goods, pasta, cereal, toiletries, and more.
Thank you for your generosity as we share in the joy of giving.
