Who We Are
We Belong
to the United Church of Christ in a covenantal relationship
We Worship
the one true and living God, Jesus Christ our Savior, and the Holy Spirit who makes us one
by celebrating the sacraments of Baptism and Holy Communion regularly
using the rich tradition rooted in the German Reformed Church
as families together in one accord on a Sunday morning—young and old alike, sharing the praise of God
using a variety of styles of music including our Senior and handbell choirs sharing faithfully
as a community of faith who prays for and supports each other as well as our brothers and sisters around the world
We Serve
God by using our social hall to serve FOOD 🙂
donuts and coffee every third Sunday morning of the month during the school year
We Care
for our church members with visitation, prayer, and greeting card ministries
for our community by being involved as individuals and a church family
by maintaining our church cemeteries and providing dignified and proper burial for members and community residents
by collecting school supplies, coats, hats, scarves and mittens to be distributed in our community
for our building by keeping the property maintained as a historical landmark
We Share and Support Ministry through community outreach.
We Learn
in worship by reading and studying the scriptures
in Sunday School by discussing and exploring the Bible through activities
by participating in continuing education events offered by many institutions in our community
We Have Fun
by providing social events for church and community members
yard sales and children’s activities
basket auction and bazaar
local sporting events
fellowship meals at local restaurants
other community events and activities
We belong to and are children of God.
